How can companies just start charging for stuff you don't order or want. I think that they got my info when I purchased something off the TV also. Anybody know how to contact this fly by night company!

1. Written by @CLASS ACTION LAW SUIT ON UMG on October 30, 2011 I am willing to take this matter to another level. I want to start a class action lawsuit against these thieves. I called this umg and they said they have been taking $19.95 every since JUNE. I really hate the fact if you get a call and talk to companies. They figure its ok to steal money out of personal accounts of hard working americans. Im one of them and had no authorization to do so. The supervisor told me that a $25 and $50 voucher was sent to me. That was very ignorant , why would I pay $19.95 a month to receive $75 voucher of my own money. I have been charged $29.00 extra by my bank each time for these unauthorized overdrafts. For instance if this company take 5 months from me, thats $100 plus $150. Totalling $250 out of my pocket . These people have to be stopped. The only way to drive them out of business. Is a hefty class action lawsuit. If you are tired like me help me with this. Blog this site with a response. Thank You
2. Written by Ste57 on June 11, 2010 I got a phone call saying they were going to sent a package to me within 7 to 10 days and they would wait two weeks before charging me.Within the 2 weeks I was to see if it was rite for me.I never recieved what they said and after the 2 weeks charged my account.I didn't even have the dollar in my account they charged me and it cost me a 25 dollar overdraft. When I called to complain,I found that they hadn't even sent the item to me until 6 to 8 days after they called. That was to be on Sat.the 5th.Today is the 11th.and I still haven't received anything from them.BUT they did cancel my account with them and "CREDITED" my checking account.Witch I will not receive for 4 to 7 days. The thing that *** me off more is now I'm left with a 25 dollar overdraft fee. Now I have to find a way to protect myself from this company from taking more money out. After reading other complains about this company,It has got me worried that they will.
3. Written by VM on March 31, 2010 I just got a refund. I told them I had never ordered anything with them or signed up with anything and apparently it was something that would have come up in a phone call like a radio ad. The girl I spoke to was nice enough to give me the full refunds for both charges. 1-888-859-2051 |
4. Written by JLH on September 10, 2008 File a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and The Federal Trade Commission. You do both of them online. The more people who complain, the more likely something will get done.. a fine or a court ordered shut down.
5. Written by M@M@2four on August 12, 2008 Hello...yep, they did the SAME thing to me! I bought something off Lillian Vernon over a year ago and was being charged $11.99/month to my card--I thought this was something my hubby had signed up for and he thought the same, so both of us were disregarding it. Then he happened to mention it to me and I told him it wasn't mine---had no idea UMG had hitchhiked onto my account! So, he called....talked to a girl and then asked to speak to manager...talked to a supervisor, Carlos(if that's even really his name) and he said he would only refund 6 of the transactions. I was beyond angry. So, I called back, asked to speak to Carlos...he tried to tell me that they were doing ME a COURTESY!!!! I demanded over and over that they give me all 14 refunds and he continually told me he could only give me 6. At that point, I demanded to speak to HIS supervisor...he tried to tell me he was the supervisor and I told him, "Don't play games with me, I know there's someone over top of you!" At that point he very annoyed, told me to hold on. In less than 1 minute he came back and told me he spoke to his supervisor(if he ever really did) and they were going to refund me all my money--all 14 transactions! I cannot believe a company can do this! I told him if they were so legit, where was my membership folder or my e-mail congratulating me for, "joining?!" and where are these so called, "benefits" I'm supposed to be receiving?! Plain and simple, this company is a TOTAL internet scam if I ever did see one! If this happens to you, call and DO NOT back down! Tell them you will continue to call all day and tie up their phones until they refund you your FULL refund! And whatever you do, do not let them talk you into only giving you a partial refund! Good luck!
