When I called my credit card company to ask a question about my card, they offered me a Buyers Edge membership free trial with a $50 VISA Giftcard for signing up which you will supposedly receive even if you cancel the membership. I cancelled and sent in the form for the giftcard, then they sent me a letter saying I need to send back the enclosed form to "register" for the giftcard, and it will only be a $25 giftcard, THEN they will send me another form for another $25 giftcard when I receive my first $25 giftcard. Sent the form back and they sent a DIFFERENT form this time - "Registration for a giftcard registration form". I have to REGISTER for a REGISTRATION FORM?!?! Sent back 3 forms with MY envelopes and MY postage - still no giftcard. It's like they are going to keep sending me forms until I give up or have spent more than the giftcard's worth in time, envelopes, stamps, etc. These forms they keep sending look different each time, but they include the exact same information as the other forms I've already submitted, which indicates that they had all the information they needed to send me the card in the first place, but they just want to keep overcomplicating things so they don't have to send a giftcard. WHAT A SCAM! 35b2657

I fell for the same thing. I just got the paperwork for my membership in the mail, and was about to return my "Special Reward" coupon. I think I'm just going to cancel right now. I don't need this BS. Thanks for the info!
